Reservation & Confirmation

All reservations to be made in writing via our official website or email addresses.
All reservation requests will be handled/ replied within 24 hours. We will inform you in case we are unable to process your requests by the specified time frame.

Deposit & Payment

Upon confirmation of a reservation, you are required to deposit 30% of the tour cost within 3 days of booking confirmation. Additional deposits are required for certain services or at certain peak dates. We will advise you of this at the time of process your booking. The rest of package tour price should be paid not less than 45 days prior to departure.

If a booking is requested less than 45 days prior to the arrival date and confirmed, full payment is required before booking is processed.

Payment can be made by: Credit card, bank transfer, in cash or combined. All bank service charges (as may be applied by your bank and intermediate bank) are born by the payer.

In case of payment by credit cards, an additional charge of 3.5% will be added for Visa and Master Card and 3.85% for American Express.

After you have received Invoice Payment Link, please check the information on the Invoice. If all the information is correct, please check the Terms and Conditions and click, I agree with Terms and Conditions and click Submit or Book. To make the payment, you will input the following card information:

  • Card Number
  • Expiration Date

CSC (Card Security Code – CVV, CVC)

  • Billing address (Card holder’s address which has been registered with the Issuer Bank)

Click “PAY”

Online payment password (If you have enrolled 3D- Secure Program for your card with the Issuer Bank namely Verified by Visa for Visa card, MasterCard Secure Code for MasterCard, and J- Secure for JCB Card ).

Note: sending money online is available only in some countries. If not available, please find an agent near to you to send money.

Note: No Hidden Charges

Booking a tour with Family Treasure Tours, we will never require you to pay unexpected fees. After we receive your request, our professional travel consultant will arrange a complete itinerary in which includes highlight attractions, price, and inclusion. There will be NO additional tours with additional charges in itineraries. Our tours are inclusive and clearly with NO HIDDEN EXTRAS.

Amendment

In case you wish to make amendments to your booking, no charge will be applied if the amendments are not close to the deadline of cancellation (please see cancellation policy). When an amendment is made, the tour cost may change and the new price will apply.

Rates & Services

  1. All the rates quoted in the tariff are net cost in US Dollars per person and Family Treasure Travels & Tours reserve the right to amend the price with or without prior notice. Based on the unforeseen circumstances like currency fluctuation and operator costs, the prices may vary at the time of confirmation. We will provide you the actual quotation and services at the time of booking confirmation.
  2. Tour prices are include for transfer, domestics air fares, sightseeing, accommodation (Twin-shared basis), meals in local restaurants, guide, entrances fees and service as shown in each program. Services shown in each tour itinerary should cover the above mention, if any discrepancy. Services not includes are unspecified tours or meals, passport & visa fees, airport tax, personal and baggage insurance, excess baggage charges, personal expense, porter tips, and services not mentioned in tour itinerary. If a separate single room is require, there will be a single supplement liable.

Cancellation Charges

Family Treasure Tours would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip; however, we realize that there are many valid reasons that this can happen. In the event of cancellation, we will refund any payment made to Family Treasure Tours (less any cancellation fee that is applicable) within 14 days of our receipt of your written cancellation request.

The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:

  1. No cancellation fees for 45 days prior to arrival, full amount will be refund back to you except for the bank transfer charges.
  2. Within 45 to 30 days prior to arrival 30% of total invoice.
  3. Within 30 to 21days prior to arrival 50% of total invoice.
  4. Within 21 to 11days prior to arrival 80% of total invoice.
  5. Less than 11 days prior to arrival or (No Show) 100% of total invoice.
  6. After the trip has commenced, Family Treasure Toursis unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your willingness, early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.

Within January, April and December are peak season for Hotel, Flight and Guides. Family Treasure Tours suggest 45 days confirmation prior to arrival within above mention periods.

Children Policy

Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult who is parents or legal guardian. In the absence of such persons, written permission from them is required.

  • Under 2 years – free of charge;
  • From 3 to 12 years – 30% discount on overland service if sharing bed with parents and 15% sharing room with parents with an extra bed;
  • Above 12 years – adult cost;

Travel Documentation

All clients must be in possession of a valid passport for at least 6 months from the date of departure and valid visa from Myanmar Embassy before departure and necessary visas or permits at the commencement of travel. All such documentation is the sole responsibility of the client. Your travel advisor may assist you in applying for the necessary travel documentation upon request. Family Treasure Travels and Tours Co Ltd. accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the failure of clients to obtain appropriate documentation.

Health Requirements

Clients should take into account all international travel risks and familiarize themselves with health requirements applicable to the areas they intend to visit. The client is solely responsible for checking the safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements of governments in countries visited or transited.

Luggage Allowance

In accordance with regulations of the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), the free baggage allowance within Myanmar is 20kg for the economy class, 30kg for the business class, and 40kg for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the client. Regulations within Myanmar specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft.

Complaints & Claims

Working in the business sector, we understand that no matter how perfect a company may be, complaints from the customers are always possible to arise. Shall you feel unsatisfied with any service Family Treasure Tours has provided, please notify your local tour guide or your travel advisor to avoid the potential for similar problems happening again during your trip.

In the event of a complaint or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email, regular mail, or facsimile in writing within 15 days from the end of your tour. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. Family Treasure Tours will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour.

Responsibility & Liability

  • Family Treasure Tours provides tour information and Myanmar tour bookings. Family Treasure Tours publishes travel information and services gathered from the selected quality hotels, air ticket agencies, and tour companies & operators. Family Treasure Tours will not be responsible for errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the information provided by third-party providers.
  • Family Treasure Tours shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent or fraudulent, omissions, changes of itinerary, cancellation or the failure of any equipment operated by those suppliers or any other party not directly owned or controlled by Family Treasure Tours.
  • Family Treasure Tours shall not be held responsible for the loss of property or additional expenses sustained by customers due to unforeseen disasters such as earthquake, flood, typhoon, fire, disease, adverse weather, etc. or the act of governments or other authorities such as war, strikes, political chaos, riots, quarantine, customs regulations, delays or changes in itineraries or schedules by those out of our control.
  • Family Treasure Tours will not be responsible for any injury, loss, death, delay or damage to personal property that is not related to our services such as airlines delay. Our’s maximum liability, for any reason, will be limited to the amount paid to us for the requested services.
  • Family Treasure Tours will not be held responsible for loss, death, physical harm caused to or any expenses incurred by passengers if they deviate from our original tour itinerary or group.
  • Family Treasure Tours is not responsible for a client’s failure to comply with customs regulations.
  • Family Treasure Tours is not responsible for the theft or loss of any customer’s valuables or items of personal property due to the negligence of the customer.
  • Family Treasure Tours reserves the right to substitute hotels, flights, or cruise ships, to alter itineraries, or to cancel the tour prior to departure. If Go Myanmar Tours has canceled any tour prior to the commencement of the tour, Go Myanmar Tours is liable for a full refund of the money received from the client.
  • Many of Family Treasure Tours’ tour packages include activities which require care and attention. Such activities include boarding and going ashore from boats, climbing hills and entering and exiting tombs and caves etc. You will receive help and advice from our representatives but all activities are undertaken at your own risk. Family Treasure Tours, its employees and agents cannot be responsible for any action or event that occurs after it said employees and agents have exercised their duty and taken the necessary care.
  • Family Treasure Tours reserves the right to modify or rescind the terms and conditions in whole, or in part at any time with or without notice.
