Thanlyin is a major port city of Myanmar, located across Bago River from the city of Yangon. Thanlyin Township comprises 17 quarters and 28 village tracts. It is home to the largest port in the country, Thilawa port.
Morning pick up around the 8:00am and drive to Thanlyin (about 1hr driving). It is situated at the confluence of the Yangon and Bago Rivers, to be exact. on the southern bank of the Bago River. Arrived Thanlyin and visit the Ye Le Paya Kyauk Tan pagoda this located at mid-stream built on late rite reef. Pilgrims and visitors are ferried across to the pagoda. Return back to Yangon on the way visit the Kyaik-Khauk Pagoda; it perches on the hillock of the town, an imposing golden stupa similar to the Shwedagon with a history dated back over 2,000 years. In the late afternoon arrived at yangon and sunset beauty and way of life of local people at Botahtoung jetty. Tour ending at your hotel.
