Afternoon excursion Shwenandaw Kyaung and Kuthodaw Pagoda is the world's largest book made of 729 marble slabs, on which the entire Theravada Buddhist Pali Canon is inscribed. Mandalay is a major arts and crafts center. The slabs of marble are inscribed with the entire Tipitaka Buddhist scriptures.
We will go up to the top of Mandalay Hill from where we can enjoy a birds-eye view of Mandalay and hopefully a beautiful sunset. Return back to your hotel. End of touring day.
